This License Acknowledgment establishes the intellectual property rights and licensing terms governing Scoutzy. This document is legally binding and defines the rights of all parties involved in the creation and use of this software.
Scoutzy is an original work created as part of an academic thesis project. The rights and obligations described herein reflect the agreed terms between the author and the educational institution to which this project was submitted.
Scoutzy was created by Karel Ježek ("the Author"), who retains full and exclusive copyright over all source code, design assets, documentation, and associated intellectual property. No rights are transferred to any party except as explicitly stated in this document.
Pursuant to the Author's academic obligations, the educational institution ("the School") holds the following rights with respect to the originally submitted version of the project:
The School's rights described in this document apply exclusively to the version of Scoutzy submitted at the time of the Author's state final examination (státní závěrečná zkouška).
Any version created, published, or distributed after that submission date — including updates, patches, new features, or derivative projects — is subject solely to the Author's discretion. The School holds no rights, claims, or entitlements with respect to any post-submission version.
The Author reserves the full and exclusive right to create new versions, forks, or derivative works at any time and without prior consent from the School. Such works may be released under any license the Author chooses, including commercial licenses. The School shall have no claim to revenue, intellectual property, or any other rights arising from these derivative works.
This licensing arrangement takes effect upon submission of the project to the School and is binding on all parties. By accessing or using Scoutzy, users acknowledge the validity of the intellectual property rights described herein.
